Northeast Collaborative Architects, LLC earns Women Owned Small Business Status

Northeast Collaborative Architects, LLC (NCA) is pleased to announce our Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) status granted by the Small Business Administration (SBA).
In addition to the SBA WOSB certification, NCA is certified with the dual recognition of Small Business Enterprise/Minority Business Enterprise (SBE/MBE) in the State of Connecticut. We are a certified small business as part of the Small Business Reserve Program in the state of Maryland. Our application for the Minority or Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) Certification in Rhode Island is pending due to the required eligibility waiting period.
Synfoni Bailey-Green and Andrea T. Baranyk are the majority owners of NCA. Synfoni and Andrea are joined by Sean Donadio and John Scheib as owners and Principals of NCA. These four owners each have 15+ years in the profession with diverse experience within the field.
About the Majority Owners: Synfoni has extensive experience in the design and technical execution of multiple project types including residential (single & multifamily), educational and public sector. Her project experience encompasses all design phases from conception to completion (schematic, development and construction) including furniture and technology integration for new, existing and historic properties. Synfoni has been praised by her clients for her ability to bring their visions and dreams to reality.
From historic structures to new buildings, Andrea has led design teams on a wide variety of project types in her career including luxury hotels, public and private schools, housing, offices, fire and police stations, town halls, medical offices, and laboratories. As a Historic Architect, she has documented projects to receive federal and state tax credits. Andrea is recognized for successfully managing complex adaptive reuse of historic structures that incorporate challenging code requirements. She is an expert at maintaining a calm, collaborative, and systematic approach throughout the design and project delivery.
