Hunterdon County Historical Society Administrator, Hunterdon County Historical Society (Flemington, NJ)

The Hunterdon County Historical Society (HCHS) seeks an experienced, self-directed, organized, professional Administrator for a part-time position of 20 hours/week based in Flemington, NJ. The Administrator will work with the HCHS professional Archivist and Librarian to operate our archive building, research library, and historic house. 

Museum and collections experience as well as competence in using Past Perfect software are required and an appreciation for archival management is helpful.  Successful candidates should also have experience in museum public programing and social media. Other duties may include fundraising, membership and marketing. The Administrator will report to the Board of Trustees. 

A bachelor’s degree is required. Preference will be given to applicants with historical association, museum or non-profit experience.
