PRACTICAL PRESERVATION MAKES THE LSIT OF 11 GREAT PODCASTS FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION FANS
LANCASTER, PA. – Practical Preservation makes the list of 11 great podcasts for historic preservation fans. This list was compiled by Nicholas Som for the National Historic Preservation Trust.
Som’s list focuses on podcasts from the preservation world to beyond. Practical Preservation was listed as a key podcast for fans of historic restorations. “For a podcast that truly gets into the nitty-gritty of the preservation trades, it’s hard to go wrong with Practical Preservation. Produced by Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based historic preservation firm Keperling Preservation Services, the show features interviews with a variety of guests from the world of historic preservation. Check out the episode with Chad Martin, formerly of Partners for Sacred Places. The nonprofit collaborates with the National Trust to manage the National Fund for Sacred Places” wrote Som.
Practical Preservation has interviewed many different people and companies to provide varied views of the historic preservation community. Topics include house history research, preservation and sustainability, and programs, products, and services to help care for older buildings.
The Practical Preservation podcast can be found on our webpage practicalpreservationservices.com where new episodes can be found every Thursday.
