The City of Omaha Planning Department is currently seeking a preservation administrator (job ID 463). This job is a city planner position with specific emphasis on managing the City's historic preservation program. Responsibilities include providing certificate of approvals for work performed on historic properties, managing archival data, administering the Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission (LHPC), administering annual preservation grant projects and other preservation related tasks as required. This job is situated within the Urban Design section of the Planning Department. Some cross-over to urban design and city planning may occur based on ability and interest. Knowledge and training in architecture and design is preferred but not required.
Salary: $64,251.20 with step increases to $89,648.00/Annually
