A dollar-for-dollar, non-Federal match, is required, this can be either cash or documented in-kind services. SAT is administered by the National Park Service (NPS) in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Preservation projects fund physical preservation of historic buildings, sites, structures, and objects. The property may be listed individually or as contributing to a nationally significant district. Properties listed at the State or Local level of significance are NOT eligible for SAT. In the National Register, properties maybe listed at the level of either the National, State or Local level of significance.
