The Florida Division of Historical Resources, Bureau of
Historic Preservation, is seeking candidates for a Historic
Preservationist position. The Historic Preservationist is responsible for
researching, writing, and editing National Register nominations,
conducting evaluations on potential National Register sites, reviewing and
commenting on Survey Reports, preparing meeting and notification
materials, and participating in public meetings. In addition, the Historic
Preservationist helps prepare and conduct trainings, conducts site visits,
drafts maps, and reviews documents generated by the Historic Preservation
Grant Program.
This is a full-time, 40 hr/week position with the division at our offices
in Tallahassee, and includes benefits such as paid time off, retirement,
health insurance, and tuition waivers.
Qualified Candidates should, at a minimum, meet the Secretary of the
Interior's Professional Qualification Standards for Architectural History.
