The intern(s) will assist the Historic Preservation Services staff with projects related to social equity, civil rights, and the division’s Full Story Fort Collins initiative. Related work will include research organization and records management in support of the City’s State Historic Fund grant for an historic context on civil rights. The intern will assist with research and writing related to ongoing documentation and Landmarking of historic properties. The intern may support the ongoing educational programming of the office by providing research support in advance of upcoming events, and may have the opportunity to plan, research, and present their own educational program(s) based on their area(s) of interest. The intern will also assist staff with records management related to making historic property files accessible to the public in multiple formats, including in the City’s spatially-referenced historic datasets.
