The Washington SHPO is hiring an Architectural Historian! Join the team!

What you will be doing:
You will be embedded in the Built Environment Unit, conducting historic preservation activities that help Washington state advance its priorities to equitably implement state and Federal preservation programs. You will be performing work requiring knowledge and expertise specific to historic preservation. Core work responsibilities include overseeing Section 106 reviews, assisting state agencies through Governors Executive Order 21-02 project reviews, implementing education and training programs for the agency, and being a key team member in several innovative projects related to transformational equity and outreach strategies with Washington’s incredibly diverse communities.
