National Preservation Institute Seeks New Venues and Cooperating Organizations for 2025 Seminars

NPI has a strong history of working with Cooperating Organizations around the country that partner with us to host trainings in historic preservation and cultural resource management. Cooperating Organizations include universities, historical societies, government agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations working in the field.

Interested? Please contact us by Thursday, August 22, 2024

Cooperating Organizations provide:
- Comfortable training room that holds 25-30 participants
- Audiovisual support
- Location with nearby lodging, restaurants, and transportation options
- Availability during the spring (mid-March through May) or fall semester (late August through mid-November)
- Promotion of the seminar through listservs, social media, and/or web listings

NPI offers:
- Comped and discounted training opportunities for staff and/or students of Cooperating Organizations
- Training opportunities for participants in your state and further afield

NPI’s 2025 roster will offer 25-30 scheduled seminars:

- Native American Cultural Property Law
- NEPA Compliance and Cultural Resources
- NEPA, Section 106, and Section 4(f) Coordination for Transportation Projects
- The Recent Past: Strategies for Identification, Evaluation, and Protection
- Risk Assessment and Resiliency Planning for Cultural Resources
- Section 106: An Introduction
- Section 106: A Review for Experienced Practitioners
- Section 106: Agreement Documents
- Section 4(f) Compliance for Historic Properties
- Traditional Cultural Places
