The Stan Hywet Symposium

Registration is now open for the first annual Stan Hywet Symposium. Join us as we explore the cultural, architectural and social history of America’s Industrial Revolution and the ensuing Gilded Age. Examine efforts to preserve the country house estates of the period for future generations. All programming takes place at the historic Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, Akron, Ohio.
Presentations will be in the three focused areas of history, architecture and historic preservation.
Come early! On October 16, there will be a guided motor coach tour of Akron, Ohio at 6 p.m. Seats are limited so register early.
