Join Spokane Preservation Advocates on Saturday, July 26 for a hands-on preservation project at the historic Orchard Prairie School, just northeast of town. Built in 1894 and still in use today, this two-room schoolhouse is ready to shed its vinyl siding and make its case for the local historic register.

We’re teaming up with the Orchard Prairie School Board to get the job done — and we need your help! Whether you’re handy with a hammer or just handy with snacks, we’ve got a job for you. No experience necessary.

- Snacks, drinks, and lunch provided
- What to bring: gloves, hammers, small crowbars, step stools/ladders if you’ve got ‘em. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!
