"Nashville Sites Live" | McKissack and Black Architecture

August 13, 2025 |
PSN is excited announce our next collaboration with the Nashville Historical Foundation! Join us for a free "Nashville Sites Live" event focused on the legacy and impact of Black architects in our city, with special attention to the pioneering McKissack family—the founders of the nation’s first Black-owned architecture firm—and other trailblazing Black architects who have shaped Nashville’s built environment. The evening will feature a dynamic panel discussion with PSN Board Member and Moody Nolan architect, Brian Tibbs and Dr. Learotha Williams, Jr., moderated by Nashville Sites Executive Director Mary Ellen Pethel.
