Advanced Techniques in Matching Traditional Mortar, Stucco and Historic Concrete

Learn the trowel trade secrets that make repairs disappear! Gain the confidence to understand what you are looking at when it comes to building decay. Know how to specify the most appropriate materials for concrete and stucco restoration projects.

Use a lime mortar as a poultice to draw out salts from within a historic masonry wall, work with special aggregates made from marbles, limestone and brick dust. Practice advance techniques in bead and ribbon joint profiles with special hand-made tools using hydraulic lime, lime putty and cements. Traditional lath & stucco & historic cast stone repair techniques demonstrated and explained.
