The Kama‘aina of the Year™ designation honors individuals from our community who have made unique and lasting contributions to the preservation of Hawai‘i’s historic places and cultural resources. Now in its 33rd year, the event is Historic Hawai‘i Foundation’s major annual fundraiser and supports the preservation of historic sites on all the Hawaiian Islands.

Parking:
Parking is free at the Convention Center parking lot for all event guests.   The entrance to this second-level parking garage is accessible via Kalakaua Avenue. The garage height is 9'11".  Parking validation will be provided at event registration (4th floor).
