Researching Your House's History

This one day workshop provides an introduction to basic methods for researching documentation in government archives, libraries, historical societies, and on the internet. Participants will have an opportunity to use the excellent resources of the Madison Public Library to conduct first-hand research of primary source documents such as maps, city directories, and censuses.
