The Young Friends of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the Antique Row Association will host the fourteenth Annual “Evening on Antique Row” on March 7, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the nationally acclaimed antiques district in West Palm Beach.
The Evening on Antique Row closes Dixie Highway between Southern Boulevard and Greenwood Avenue with live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, horse and carriage rides and more, allowing visitors to explore the area’s 50 unique shops, each offering collections of 17th to 20th century antiques, decorative arts, period furnishings and fine art.
This year’s event will also feature samplings by the best of local Palm Beach County restaurants, including Sushi Jo, Zen Rabbit Baking Company, Market Salamander, Sandy James Productions, Echo, Someone's In The Kitchen Catering, The Coffee Shack, Nick & Johnny's, Chez Jean Pierre, Presidente Beer, Palm Beach Grill, III Forks Restaurant, Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, C&C BBQ, Christina's Catering, Gulfstream Seafood Restaurant & Market, Howley's Restaurant, Legal Seafoods, Santaluces High School Culinary Arts Academy, Sugar Monkey, Phat Sandwich, Ambrosia, Angle at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, Marcello's La Sirena, White Apron Catering, Blue Martini, and Angry Moon Cigars.
The Evening on Antique Row benefits the educational programs of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County. Advance Tickets are $40 each, or two for $75 and can be purchased either by telephone (561) 832-4164 ext 100.
The Young Friends' Host Committee tickets are $200 per couple and include admission for two to all 2008 Young Friends' Events, 2 tickets to the Evening on Antique Row, and entrance to the fabulous After-Party Lounge held at Hotel Biba for drinks provided by Chill Wine Merchants and Palm Beach Proper Vodka, and hors d'oeuvres provided by Cafe Boulud, dancing and fun from 9:30 PM until midnight.
