Best Selling Author Breena Clark on "Stand the Storm," a Georgetown Story

February 28, 2009

Join best selling author Breena Clarke for an engaging lecture on her latest novel, “Stand The Storm.” Set during the Civil War, Ms. Clarke will discuss her book and how the story relates to a broader understanding of African-Americans, enslaved and free, who lived and worked in the Georgetown community.  After the lecture, Tudor Place staff lead a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic mansion’s service spaces and the stories of those who served on the estate.
