Georgia State Stewardship Awards nominations requested by February 19

The State Stewardship Awards program recognizes outstanding leadership and achievement in historic preservation stewardship of state-owned or administered properties. There are two award types:
- The Governor's Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation: Awarded for outstanding leadership or achievement of regional or statewide impact in historic preservation stewardship of state-owned or administered properties. This major award may not necessarily be presented every year.
- Governor's Awards for Historic Preservation Stewardship: Awarded for significant leadership or achievement in historic preservation stewardship as it relates to state-owned or administered properties or projects. Various awards may be awarded under this category, and achievements that are local in scope may be included.
