From Bethelem to the Metropolitan - A 1751 Dutch Farm House Moves to the American Wing.

Michael Kelley of J.M. Kelley, Ltd. will present a slide lecture on a three year project his firm undertook to move and install the interior of the 1751 Daniel Peter Winne house to the American Wing. Built in the Dutch architectural tradition, the Winne Room will be used as a gallery for the display of the Museum’s superb collection of furniture, silver, painted glass, and early portraiture made and used in the Dutch cultural areas of colonial New York. A luncheon and private tour of the American Wing with Mr. Kelley is being planned for members. Please let us know of your interest.
