San Diego County Victorians Many houses remain from San Diego's past, ranging from mansions to cottages, from beach houses to farmhouses. Eric Pahlke has photographed almost a hundred examples of the grace, beauty, and diversity of Victorian architecture. He also researched the histories of the county, cities, and communities that developed during the end of the 19th Century and bundled it all up into his book San Diego County Victorians, recently published by Save Our Heritage Organisation. He does a "must see" presentation of his photography and the history of early San Diego.

How do I get my very own South Park Historic District? One of the principle participants of the first residents driven historic district in San Diego Allen Hazard will review the ABC's of a historic district including, the what, how and why of having a historic district. He will relate his recent experience in Mission Hills for residents considering a district in South Park. He will offer practical methods on the step by step approach for residents to take for researching, preparing and submitting a historic district report.
