10-session courses this spring:

Practicing Preservation: Advocacy to Zoning, a required course for those seeking to complete a certificate, covers planning, legal and economic aspects of preservation activities in New Jersey. (Tuesday evenings; 7 – 9 p.m.)

Arrowheads to Architecture: Archeology’s Place in Historic Preservation in New Jersey explains what archeology is and why it is an important tool for managing, understanding, and interpreting our past. (Wednesday evenings: 7 - 9 p.m.)

Immigrant Dreams, Real Estate Schemes and Anodyne Suburbs: How Did the Garden State Grow? surveys the social, economic, and political development of New Jersey during the last century and a half, providing a context for understanding the changing look of New Jersey’s built environment. (Thursday evenings: 7 - 9 p.m.)
Classes are held on Drew University's campus in Madison, New Jersey between the weeks of March 19 – May 25, 2007.
