A.C.O.R.N. Renovator's Open House
August 27, 2009 |
This is a unique opportunity to tour one of the few remaining private properties in the VCU area of the Fan District. Here in the West Franklin Street State and Federal Historic District, see an elegant example of the high-style Italianate buildings that line West Franklin Street. A.C.O.R.N. tax credit consultant Amy Vealey worked with historians at the Department of Historic Resources to extend the state and federal historic district to include this hidden city block. Ms. Vealey's efforts led to the successful renovation of the townhouse, through the use of state and federal tax credits. You are invited to explore this stately renovation from top to bottom. Not a detail has been overlooked in the process -- from molded tin ceilings and refurbished wainscoting to the application of beautiful recycled light fixtures. This promises to be an A.C.O.R.N. Open House to remember!
Please call A.C.O.R.N. at (804) 644-5040 to RSVP.
