Enchanted Landscapes: Exploring Cultural Traditions and Values

An Invitation: The Alliance for Historic Landscape Preservation is excited to hold its 2010 annual meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  With its rich cultural and natural history, Albuquerque provides a stimulating array of cultural landscapes.  The Program Committee of the Alliance once again invites proposals for presentations that will encourage lively discussions about cultural landscapes.  Proposals for presentations that address the ideas of 'enchantment' and/or 'exploration' as applied to landscapes are especially welcome, but this should not discourage those wishing to address other landscape issues.

Proposals are invited for three (3) types of presentations:

• Papers:  20-25 minute papers addressing issues in landscape preservation theory, practice, or education 
• Summaries of Works-in-Progress:  10-15 min. discussions of on-going projects
• Posters:  graphic presentations of completed projects using appropriate illustrative techniques. (One or two panels each 24" by 36" are recommended but other sizes are acceptable.)
