14th Annual International Preservation Trades Workshop

October 21-23, 2010

After the success of the 2009 Preservation Rendezvous, PTN will be returning to Frankfort, Kentucky, October 21-23, 2010 for IPTW 2010 to be held in partnership with the Kentucky Heritage Council, The Frankfort/Franklin County Tourist & Convention Bureau and the Frankfort Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites.

Frankfort is a beautiful historic town with lots of small shops and places to eat all within comfortable walking distance of the main event venue at River View Park.  Camping will be available at Cove Springs Park. For folks who don’t feel like camping there are lots of local B&Bs and the Crown Plaza Hotel right across the street from the main event venue and within easy walking distance from historic downtown Frankfort.

The City of Frankfort was founded in 1786 and is the Capital of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the County seat for Franklin County. The City is located in the Bluegrass Region in Central Kentucky and has a population of approximately 28,000 residents. The daily population increases to approximately 50,000 based on workforce that resides in the County or commutes from nearby Counties. The City is considered one of the most picturesque Capitals in the United States with natural beauty, beautiful historic and modern architecture. The City has also been named as one of the most livable small Cities with attributes including generous hospitality, rich cultural and architectural history, affordable housing and cost of living.
