Hudson River Valley Study Tour Registration Open

October 4-9, 2006

Join the Society of Architectural Historians this October for a study tour to the architecture and landscapes of the Hudson River Valley.

The tour will be led by Winthrop Aldrich, advisor to the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area and Former Deputy SHPO and Michael J. Lewis of Williams College. Among some of the sites we will visit on the tour are Rockwood Hall, William Rockefeller's (1841-1922) Sleepy Hollow estate, Bear Mountain Inn, Monhonk Mountain House, Downing Park, a hard-hat tour of Olana and Watervliet Arsenal.

Limited space is available on the tour.

Cost:
Single occupancy $2425 per person
Double occupancy $1995 per person

The registration deadline is August 4, 2006. All SAH Study Tours are registered with the AIA Continuing Education System. In addition, this tour is registered with the ASLA/CPE.

One space on the tour will be reserved for an advanced graduate student or emerging scholar or architect to participate. For a scholarship application, please follow the links on the SAH website at http://sah.org/
