Northside House & Bicycle Tours

The Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods-- in partnership with the Battery Park and Southern Barton Heights Civic Associations and the City of Richmond Department of Planning & Development Review Preservation Staff-- invites you to explore the history and architecture of three early streetcar suburbs by foot or bi-cycle.
10 -11 am ~ A presentation on the history of these three neighborhoods along with information on tax credits and other incentives to help with the purchase and renovation of the architectural gems in this area. A booklet containing listings of available houses for sale will be given to those who attend.
11 am -1 pm ~ A list of homes open for viewing will be provided for participants to take a self-tour. There will be a guided bicycle tour-- via old streetcar lines-- for those who want to cycle through these three historic communities.
