Michigan Historic Preservation Network Annual Fall Benefit
October 1, 2010 |
You are invited to attend the 2010 Michigan Historic Preservation Network's Fall Benefit on Friday evening, October 1st, at the stately Durand Union Station. Wait…where is Durand? Do attend - Durand is closer than you think (only 75 miles from Detroit, 59 miles from Ann Arbor, and 40 miles from Lansing) and conveniently located off of I-69!
Tour the wonderful c. 1905 train depot designed by Spier and Rohns for the Grand Trunk... Western Railroad. Enjoy music, substantial hors d’oeuvres, delightful desserts and a hosted bar (coffee and tea and other non-alcoholic beverages will also be served). Always the highlight of the evening – try your luck at bidding on a unique assortment of great items in the silent and live auctions. You’ll have a special opportunity to support our Field Representatives by ‘buying’ days, weeks, and months of their time! You can even do some early holiday shopping at the MHPN Holiday Marketplace!
