Douglas Day Saturday, November 20, 2010 – 10 am – 5 pm Join a free day of family fun & music in honour of British Columbia’s 152nd anniversary at Fort Langley. Sign the giant proclamation at 10 am. Follow the procession and watch an entertaining version of the Royal Proclamation, complete with black powder salute and the raising of the flag, at 10:30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm. At 2 pm, the site will unveil Lieutenant General Steven Point’s hand-carved canoe, on display for a year. Free admission sponsored by the Fort Langley Legacy Foundation.
