A joint conference with both the Visitors Studies Association (VSA) and the Illinois Association of Museums (IAM).

Each year, hundreds of museum professionals convene at the AMM conference to network and share valuable information about the museum profession. In 2011, AMM will host a conference in Chicago, Illinois at the historic Palmer House Hotel. The Palmer House will serve as the host hotel for the conference. The conference will feature outstanding sessions, speakers and special events, including receptions and tours at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago History Museum and other museums in Chicago. AMM and IAM have scheduled the conference in collaboration with the Visitors Studies Association to create a unique and dynamic conference experience.
