26th Annual Rhode Island Statewide Historic Preservation Conference

The 26th Annual Statewide Preservation Conference will take place on historic Block Island. Our homebase will be the village of Old Harbor, and tours will explore the island from Old Harbor to New Harbor, North Light to Southeast Light.
Planning is underway. What do you want to learn about historic preservation? We need your input on conference sessions, tours, and speakers. Conference sessions run 75 minutes long and focus on relevant preservation topics. This includes--but is not limited to--tourism, planning, landscapes, technology, sustainability, open space, farms, waterfronts, artistry, design, economics, housing, smart growth, museums, advocacy, policy, neighborhood revitalization, education, etc. Conference tours run either 1.25 or 3 hours long.
