February 17, 2011 |
The Complete Architecture of Adler and Sullivan by Richard Nickel and Aaron Siskind with Ward Miller and John Vinci originated in 1952 as the project of a graduate student photography class, including Richard Nickel, under the direction of Aaron Siskind at Chicago’s Institute of Design. Finished 58 years later, this new publication has over 800 photographs and 250 essays chronicling the work of Adler & Sullivan. Miller will present highlights and talk about the fascinating story behind this long awaited book. A book signing will follow the lecture.
