Georgia Trust Annual Meeting & Spring Ramble and Statewide Preservation Conference

March 31 - April 3, 2011

Join The Georgia Trust as we explore the rich historic culture that makes Macon the "song and soul of the South" on March 31 - April 3, 2011. We've combined our Annual Meeting & Spring Ramble with the Georgia Statewide Preservation Conference to offer a wide variety of events, designed to please both the brand new and veteran Rambler, historic building enthusiast, and preservation professional alike.  This year's Ramble features evening activities to finish each day in style.

From Stanislaus to downtown, Macon has a diverse array of historic homes, businesses, churches, museums, rock 'n' roll crash pads, lofts and gardens that showcase the preservation efforts that have taken place in this fair city.

Ramble sites will include behind-the-scenes tours of Hay House, the Spring House, and Rose Hill Cemetery. Ramblers will also have the opportunity to tour over 20 private homes in Macon's most beautiful neighborhoods. The Big House, the Allman Brothers Museum, will be open all weekend free of charge for Ramblers.

For more information, visit www.GeorgiaTrust.org or call 404-885-7812.
