Researching the History of Your Theatre: Nothing But the Truth
March 22, 2011 |
Join the League of Historic American Theatres at 2PM EDT for a 75-minute live webinar. "Nothing but the Truth: Researching the History of Your Theatre" will discuss how you can effectively use archives and source material to find the real history of your theatre, versus the myths that have grown up over the years. Where do you begin? What and who do you trust and how do you make sense of it all? Learn about major collections of historic materials, both online and physical, and how to access these important resources.
Presenters: Edward Kelsey, General Manager, Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles, and Richard Sklenar, Executive Director, Theatre Historical Society.
Fee is per site/computer (not per person) - LHAT members $49; Nonmembers - $99. All attendees also receive a recording of the webinar for future reference.
