The Historic Colonel Henry and Mary Dosch House Home and Garden Tour
May 22, 2011 |
A members-only event benefiting AHC education programs $40 per person
The AHC is pleased to offer a one-time visit in honor of National Historic Preservation Month to the historic Colonel Henry and Mary Dosch home and gardens, thanks to the generous hospitality of Dosch family descendants Jim and Gail Driscoll. The grand Hillsdale-area country home, designed by Joseph Jacobberger in 1892, is surrounded by spacious grounds which include many heritage trees. In addition to viewing the home and grounds and enjoying refreshments, you will learn about the home's significant interior from Bo Sullivan, Rejuvenation historian and principal of Arcalus Period Design and about Dosch family history from Jeffer Daykin, who curated an exhibit on the family for the Multnomah County Library. Pre-registration by members is required. The address will be provided to you when you register. Not a member yet?
