Salt Lake Modern is pleased to feature Taylor Woolley, one of Utah’s first modernists. In Utah, Taylor Woolley is foremost known as the architect who introduced the Prairie School style in 1911. Outside the state, Woolley is known as Frank Lloyd Wright’s trusted draftsman and a prominent figure in the popular book “Loving Frank.” Professor Peter Goss, architectural historian and photographer, will speak briefly about Woolley’s career as an architect and impact on Utah. Tour will commence at 1408 E. Yale Ave., Salt Lake City from 10 am to noon with a light breakfast included.
