This new guided tour of Charlotte’s modern architecture will be led by UNC Charlotte School of Architecture students and Historic Charlotte, Inc. Highlights include buildings from international, mid-century modern, post-modern and contemporary architectural styles - popular from the 1950’s to present. Tour highlights includes a number of buildings by local architects such as A. G. Odell, Pease Associates, and Freeman-White, as well as buildings designed by world famous architects such as Cesar Pelli, and Mario Botta. Tours start and end at Bechtler Museum of Modern Art located in the new Levine Center for the Arts. Tours start at Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
