Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts Open House Event

Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 from 12:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.
This event is part of the Partners in Preservation Open House Weekend. Visit a
tavern in territorial Minnesota and a 21st century community art center. Take a
history and nature tour of the house and grounds, observe or join plein air
painters in the park, enjoy poetry - both writing and recitation, draw or paint
a costumed model, and participate in native and pioneer crafts. There will be live
animal drawing session for kids, art exhibitions, music and free cider and
cookies. A beautiful landscape painting will be given away each day.
