Expert Advice for Theater Restoration

COOS BAY -- An expert in preserving historic theaters will share his knowledge during a presentation Nov. 10, 2011.
George Kramer's presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Coos Bay Public Library's large meeting room, 525 Anderson Ave. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
Kramer is the principal with Kramer and Company out of Ashland, and serves as an adviser to the Historic Preservation League of Oregon, is chairman of the Oregon Heritage Commission and the former chairman of the Ashland Historic Commission.
Also, the Egyptian Theatre Restoration Steering Committee will hold board training and strategic planning sessions in November.
The board training will run Nov. 4 and 5, with strategic and business plans being outlined Nov. 18 and 19. Anyone interested in attending the sessions should contact Joyce Jansen at jjansen@coosbay.org.
