LECTURE: Architect Thom Piotrowski on New Flagler Bridge Design

On Thursday, January 12th architect Thom Piotrowski will discuss his design for the new Flagler bridge.
The event will be will be held at 2pm at the Foundation’s offices, located at 311 Peruvian Avenue in Palm Beach.
Construction is set to begin in February on the new Flagler Bridge. The architect Thomas Piotrowksi of the firm H2L2 is designing the bridge. He previously designed the Royal Park Bridge. Piotrowski is the Principal in Charge of Design for H2L2. He joined them in 1978 and became an Associate in 1987 and Principal in 1990. Piotrowski specializes in infrastructure architecture, including bridges, vehicular roadways, pedestrian bridges, transit centers and stations. In addition, he designs state-of-the-art spaces for academic and institutional clients. Among his many professional and civic affiliations, Piotrowski is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the International Association for Bridges and Structural Engineering.
