Mozart's Muses in Arias and Duets at Napa Valley Museum

Join us for Mozart's Muses in Arias and Duets on March 10 at 7:30 pm in the main gallery of Napa Valley Museum. An evening of Mozart's most heavenly arias and romantic duets performed by two dynamic young singers, Carrie Hennessey and baritone Zachary Gordin, whose beauty of voice and technical accomplishment make them ideal Mozart singers. This performance complements Napa Valley Museum's costume exhibition MozART's Muses on loan from San Francisco. The exhibition celebrates the glamour, luxury and artistry of costume design. On display will be the sumptuous fabrics, lavish lace and delicate embroidery used in costumes onstage in SFO productions of Mozart's operas. The performance begins at 7:30 on March 10 in the main gallery of Napa Valley Museum, followed by a meet-the-artists reception with refreshments. Tickets may be purchased at the Museum or by calling (707) 944-0500, ext. 112. Reservations required, $20 per person, $15 for members.
