Varied Perspectives on Local Archaeo-Cultural Issues (Portland State University Special Event)

This is a last call to sign up for the May 31 Panel "Varied Perspectives on Local Archaeo-Cultural Issues" which will be from 3 - 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Native American Cultural Center at Portland State University (SW Jackson and Broadway). The speakers will include several of the West Coast's most prominent archaeologists, a Tribal cultural specialist, an NRCS federal archaeologist, and the director of the state of Oregon's Office of Historic Preservation. One of the speakers is an expert in wet site (semi-submerged) archaeology.

Following the panel and audience Q&A, beginning at 5:15 p.m. there will be several short documentaries on Columbia basin archaeological site projects; and a fry bread taco buffet ($4). |
