35th Annual Interior Tour of Historic Homes
Albany’s 35th Annual Tour of Historic Homes is scheduled for Saturday, July 28, 2012 11am to 5pm. This year’s tour features six historic homes, two churches and three museums. United Presbyterian Church will be open and serving refreshments in celebration of its 100th year. This is a self-guided tour and many of the homes and buildings are within walking distance of each other. Ticket price also includes trolley and/or horse-drawn wagon rides.
 
Visitors can tour the homes in any order they like. Homeowners and Hosts/Hostesses will be available to answer questions about restoration efforts, historic house maintenance and why they chose Albany as home.
 
Tickets available on the day of the tour beginning at 10am in Two Rivers Market, 300 SW 2nd. $15.00, Discounts available for seniors, groups and museum members. Well behaved children 12 & under, free with paid adult.
 
Historic downtown Albany’s restaurants and shops will be open for this event and many will have quilts on display throughout the weekend.
 
Presented by the Albany Historic Interior Home Tour Committee and sponsored by the Monteith Historical Society which is charged with preserving and sharing Albany’s Monteith House Museum. We look forward to having you and hope you will join us Saturday, July 28, 2012!
