The Identification, Evaluation, Planning, and Treatment of Cultural Landscapes
August 2, 2007 |
This workshop is meant to be useful for a broad audience, ranging from the historic homeowner to agency preservation specialists. It will provide information related to definitions, documentation and assessment for the National Register, application of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards, the Historic American Buildings Survey (HALS), and a review of the various inventory, treatment and maintenance documents typically prepared for cultural landscapes. The workshop will use both case studies of properties in California as well as the UC Berkeley campus venue to provide examples of the specific application of the course components. |
