The Willamette Falls Heritage Area Coalition celebrates the re-opening of thee Historic Oregon City—West Linn Arch Bridge with a fun-filled 3-day festival Oct. 12, 13 and 14.
Willamette Falls Festival activities will highlight the area’s heritage, arts and culture, as well as its natural wonders and outdoor activities. And, of course, it will feature activities that celebrate the Arch Bridge Reopening.
Fun will include:
• An Interactive Sculpture Project and Ripple Effects Art Walk
• Pedestrian Bridge Access (so you can walk along it, and even have a picnic on the bridge if you like!)
• Local Culinary Must-Eats, including a Saturday Market
• Live music
• Native American First Fish Demonstration
• Heritage Walking Tour with Geo-Caching and Open Houses
• Family Bike Pedal & Fun Run
• Parade
• Ceremonial Bridge Opening featuring a wedding just like the original 1922 bridge opening!
