Who: The symposium will target subject matter experts, leaders and decision makers, such as: Planners, Architects, Preservation Organizations, Federal and Local Government Organizations, Developers and Green Building experts.
What: This is the fourth in a series of symposia and will explore:
Green Historic Preservation issues relevant to the West Coast as well as national successes and lessons.The policy framework that communities need to promote and encourage data collection and other metrics for quantifying the
value of building reuse.

High-Speed Rail and Transit-Oriented Development
Healthy, Equitable Homes
Economic Development
Why: Attendees will engage in facilitated dialog on key issues, incentives, challenges and policy changes needed to successfully green historic communities. EPA will use feedback from the symposium series to compile a final report of recommendations for federal and state agencies.
