Oscar Wilde's “An Ideal Husband.” A comedy of manners about blackmail, political corruption, and relationships. An autumn performance at one of DC’s most beautiful historic homes, The Dumbarton House.
This party-style theatre is a casual standing cocktail event. (Please note: All indoor performances will have limited chairs available for seating, special preference given to need.) Gates open early for you to stroll and relax. Note: The museum will not be open. Evening performances are located in the Belle Vue ballroom.
Proceeds benefit AGE Africa (ageafrica.org) which provides high school scholarships to girls in Malawi and The Dumbarton House. Refreshments and crepes by Café Bonaparte available for sale on site. Rain or Shine.
