Historic New England presents Workshop of Reproduction Wallpapers and Fabrics

Historic New England, in association with the New England Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) presents Walls and Windows: Reproduction Products for the Historic Home, on Friday, November 16, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at its facility in Haverhill, Mass.
The workshop is an opportunity to learn from Historic New England curatorial staff and others about the history and development of period wallpapers and textiles, and to understand which are suitable for the period home, where to locate good quality reproductions, and how to use them effectively to enhance the appearance and design of a historic home.

Source materials from Historic New England's extensive collections of historic wallpapers and fabrics will be on display. Meet and greet fellow attendees over light refreshments served in the Lecture Room where representatives from Brunschwig & Fils and J. R. Burrows & Company are on hand and licensed products from Waterhouse Wallhangings are on display.
Admission to Walls and Windows: Reproduction Products for the Historic Home is $35, with discounts for Historic New England members. Registration is required. This program is also offered through the New England Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers and ASID members may obtain Continuing Education Credits for this course through IDCEC.
