Free Historic Properties Workshop

The Preservation Foundation will be presenting this year’sHistoric Properties Workshop on Friday, November 16th. It is the seventh historic properties workshop in as many years. Subtitled What’s Next?: The Future of Historic Preservation, it is open to the public and FREE to all.
The workshop is designed to create an awareness within the community about the treatment and maintenance of historic properties. Property owners, real estate brokers, architects, builders, city planners, Town serving members of the Landmarks Preservation Commission, ARCOM and Town Council are among the target audience.
The lectures and discussion will be held at the Foundation’s offices in the Rosenthal Lecture Room from 8:45am to noon. The offices are located at 311 Peruvian Avenue.

The first historic properties workshop was held in 1997. In 2006, the workshop was revived and the series looks to build on the overwhelming success of the past few years. The program’s goal is to provide the public with practical information about the various facets of historic properties in Palm Beach and the town as a whole. Participants will develop a better understanding of historic properties.
