Edinburgh Indiana Holiday of Lights
December 8, 2012 |
Come see Historic Edinburgh, Indiana. Carolers dressed in costume stroll the Historic Downtown District. Horse drawn buggies clip-clop though the Historic Toner District, passing the elegant Italianate 1870 Toner Maley House (now the Edinburgh B&B) after whom the district was named. The street will be decked in candle lit luminaries. (Carriages are $25 and hold up to six people, trolly rides are $1 per person). Chili dinners are available at the Historic Presbyterian Church in return for donations. The downtown Christmas Tree will be lit, and face painting and visits with Santa are available. While in town, observe the progress on the building facades as a result of the grant for historic restoration.
