Deadwood Cowboy Christmas

December 15, 2012
Deadwood Cowboy Christmas
This old-fashioned cowboy dance at the Deadwood Pavilion on Upper Main Street highlights some of the Black Hills’ best performers playing everyone’s favorite holiday songs. Enjoy Christmas melodies by top Black Hills performers Paul Larson, Stringbean Swensen Family, Hank Harris, Jami Lynn, Mike Linderman, Brent Morris, Jim Thompson, Paul Vande Velde, Brandon Joseph and the Tucker Dance Company, Ruth Groeneveld, and Sarah Carlson.  The matinée (doors open at noon with performance beginning at 1:00 p.m.) includes a special visit from Santa Claus and yummy desserts by Cheyenne Crossing. The evening performance features live and silent auctions, door prizes, heavy hors d’oeuvres by Cheyenne Crossing, cash bar, the National Finals Rodeo on big screens, musical performances, and a cowboy dance.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the event beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for the matinée; $30 person or $200 for a table of eight for the evening performance. All proceeds benefit Deadwood History. Call Black Hills Central Reservations at 800-344-8826.  Deadwood History will offer free admission to the Adams Museum and Days of ’76 Museum from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012.
